WhimWrap (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a browser-based design studio for packaging artwork. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you visit whimwrap.com or use our services.

Depending on how you use WhimWrap, we may collect or process:

• Account information — email address and display name when you sign up (when account features are enabled).
• Project data — template selections, text, layout choices, and uploaded images you add to your designs. In the current preview release, some project and credit data may be stored locally in your browser.
• Payment information — billing details processed by our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers on our servers).
• Usage and device data — pages visited, features used, browser type, IP address, and approximate location derived from IP (for security and analytics).
• Cookies and similar technologies — see the Cookies section below.

WhimWrap offers an optional feature to stylize photos you upload using third-party artificial intelligence provided by Google Gemini. This feature is not required to use the design studio.

• User uploads only — AI processing applies only to images you explicitly upload and choose to stylize. We do not use your photos to train our own models.
• Third-party processing — when you use AI stylization, your image and associated prompt instructions are sent to Google's Gemini API for processing. Google's handling of that data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
• Prohibited content — you must not upload or submit content that is illegal, sexually explicit (NSFW), violent, hateful, or otherwise violates our Terms of Service. We may block processing and suspend accounts that violate this policy.
• Retention — generated outputs are stored as part of your project. We retain uploaded source images only as long as needed to provide the service or as you keep them in your project.

• Provide, maintain, and improve the WhimWrap design studio and exports.
• Process optional AI photo stylization when you request it.
• Manage credits, subscriptions, and billing.
• Respond to support requests and communicate service updates.
• Detect abuse, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect security.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

We use cookies and local storage to:

• Keep you signed in and remember session preferences.
• Store credit balances and project drafts in your browser during the preview release.
• Measure site performance and understand how features are used.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit some features (for example, staying signed in or saving projects locally).

We retain account and project data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. Some data may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes (for example, transaction records).
